ASC Certification Audit Completed
AQUACULTURE STEWARDSHIP COUNCIL CERTIFICATION
The Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) is the world’s leading certification scheme for farmed seafood – known as aquaculture – and the ASC label only appears on food from farms that have been independently assessed and certified as being environmentally and socially responsible.
We've now completed the first big step in our journey to become an ASC certified farm with our certification audit completed in June 2025. We are currently awaiting the results of the audit and look forward to sharing updates as soon as we can.
Stakeholders – Please note that under the new Farm Certification Requirements for Unit of Certification (RUoC), Humpty Doo Barramundi are required to publish the dates of our ASC audit (16th and 17th of June 2025) with the bio.inspecta contact information (www.bio-inspecta.com.au or seafood@bio-inspecta.com) in a visible place (e.g. website, notice boards etc.) for local communities and neighbours in case they want to submit any comments.
