Have Your Say: Upcoming ASC Surveillance Audit Humpty Doo Barramundi, Middle Point , Northern Territory Audit dates: 6 and 7 October 2026 At Humpty Doo Barramundi, we are proud to farm Australia's favourite fish to some of the world's most rigorous environmental and social standards. As part of our ongoing certification under the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) Farm Standard, our farm will undergo an independent surveillance audit on 6 and 7 October 2026. What is the ASC audit? The Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) is a global, independent organisation that sets the benchmark for responsible aquaculture. ASC certification confirms that a farm is managed in a way that protects the surrounding environment, safeguards water quality and biodiversity, and looks after the people who work there and the communities around it. Surveillance audits are carried out regularly between full assessments to verify that we continue to meet these standards. This audit will focus primarily on the environmental principles of the ASC Farm Standard. The audit is conducted by our independent certification body, bio.inspecta Pty Ltd (Centre for Seafood Certification), with Christine Crawford as the Lead and Environmental Auditor. We want to hear from you We see certification as a promise to our neighbours, our stakeholders and the wider Territory community. That promise only means something if you can hold us to it. Ahead of the audit, we encourage anyone with an interest in our operations to share their views, whether that is feedback, a question, a concern or simply an observation. Your input helps the auditors build a complete and honest picture of how we operate, and it helps us keep improving. Speak directly with the independent auditors To provide comments directly to the independent audit team, please contact bio.inspecta: Website: www.bio-inspecta.com.au Email: seafood@bio-inspecta.com Comments made to bio.inspecta are considered independently of Humpty Doo Barramundi. Or get in touch with us We are always happy to hear from you. You can reach us through: Our contact form: humptydoobarramundi.com.au/contact Email: farm@hdbarra.com.au To make sure your feedback can be considered as part of the audit, please get in touch before 6 October 2026. Thank you for being part of our community, and for helping us farm barramundi the right way.
