As part of our ongoing certification under the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) Farm Standard, our farm will undergo an independent surveillance audit on 6 and 7 October 2026. What is the ASC audit? The Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) is a global, independent organisation that sets the benchmark for responsible aquaculture. ASC certification confirms that a farm is managed in a way that protects the surrounding environment, safeguards water quality and biodiversity, and looks after the people who work there and the communities around it. Surveillance audits are carried out regularly between full assessments to verify that we continue to meet these standards. This audit will focus primarily on the environmental principles of the ASC Farm Standard. The audit is conducted by our independent certification body, bio.inspecta Pty Ltd (Centre for Seafood Certification), with Christine Crawford as the Lead and Environmental Auditor. We want to hear from you We see certification as a promise to our neighbours, our stakeholders and the wider Territory community. That promise only means something if you can hold us to it.
