Order of Australia bestowed for 'services to NT aquaculture'
Bob Richards and Julii Tyson received their Order of Australia Medals at an investiture ceremony at Government House on
2 September 2022.
The medals were awarded in recognition for their decades of commitment to the Australian aquaculture industry, the Northern Territory economy and the community.
Bob acknowledged the team effort involved in establishing and growing the Barramundi farm, and that there was some ‘fun and irreverance’ along with the hard work. ‘People should never take themselves too seriously,’ he says.
