A Churchill Fellow in 2002, Bob was named NT Seafood Ambassador in 2019 and is lifetime member of the Australian Barramundi Farmers' Association.

Bob is a respected advisor and mentor to the CEO, Exec Team and everyone at Humpty Doo Barramundi. Bob designed the saltwater wetland system that enabled the farm to embrace sutainable production.

A visionary and pioneer in aquaculture, Bob saw the potential for sustainable aquaculture back in 1994, when it was just himself and a caretaker with a couple of ponds on the floodplain of a croc-infested river.
