Make the perfect crispy skin Barramundi in only 15 minutes with this easy recipe. Perfect for a quick mid-week meal, serve with your favourite side salad.

EASY

Ingredients 

2 x 180 g portions of HDB
Salt and pepper
Olive oil

Instructions

  1.  Pre-heat pan to medium heat
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper over skin side of fish
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and rub into the skin.
  4. Repeat on flesh side.
  5. Place Barra in pre-heated pan, skin side down, for 7 minutes.
  6. Turn the pieces over, skin side up. Cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and rest for 2 minutes.
 
Serve with your favourite side dish.

Cook's note

Tip: For evenly-cooked skin, when first placing the fillets in the pan skin side down, press the fillet gently with a spatula to ensure all of the skin is touching the pan.
