Aquaculture Stewardship Council

Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) certification is the global gold standard for responsible aquaculture. In order to achieve certification farms must meet rigorous criteria across water quality, environmental care, fish welfare, responsible feed, worker rights and transparent reporting.  In 2025 Humpty Doo Barramundi became the first Australian barramundi farm to achieve ASC certification.


Consumers and retailers expect transparency and high standards of food production. Our holistic commitment to environmental, animal, employee and consumer health and safety are re-affirmed through ASC's comprehensive third-party audited requirements.

SEDEX

Sedex is one of the world’s leading ethical trade service providers, working to improve working conditions in global supply chains. As a Sedex member, Humpty Doo Barramundi's commitment social, environmental and ethical sustainability is recognised in this globally-recognised standard. 

Australian Sustainably Farmed Barramundi

In 2014 we became one of the first Australian Barramundi farms to be accredited under the Australian Barramundi Farmers' Association's sustainability program.

HACCP

Hazard Analysis at Critical Control Points is a food safety management program which assesses and analyses food safety for facilities handling food for human consumption. We place a high importance on ensuring our packing facility is safe and hygienic for our Barramundi and our team, to ensure you enjoy premium quality Humpty Doo Barramundi.

Australian Border Force have independently reviewed Humpty Doo Barramundi’s supply chain processes and have confidence that the business can satisfy World Customs Organisation standards.
