Humpty Doo Barramundi was proud to receive the Woolworths Sustainable Supplier of the Year award at the ICC in Sydney on Thursday 6 December 2018.
The award recognises the efforts Humpty Doo Barramundi undertakes to employ and support Indigenous staff members in the business, as well as efforts to produce a sustainable Australian-grown saltwater barramundi on the family owned and operated farm.
"We are proud to say that Aboriginal employees make up approximately 17% of Humpty Doo Barramundi’s team," says Tracey Leo of Humpty Doo Barramundi. "Our IES aims to develop and deliver increased opportunities for Aboriginal people employed at Humpty Doo Barramundi."
Some of the other winners include Kailis Bros - Seafood Supplier of the Year and Driscolls Australia - Fruit Supplier of the Year, with AB Foods (Twinings) taking out the top prize of Overall Supplier of the Year.
