Landcare Farming Award win for Humpty Doo Barramundi

Humpty Doo Barramundi was honoured to receive the Australian Government Landcare Farming Award at the NT Landcare Awards Thursday 26 September 2019.

As farmers work closely with the land, recognising we are custodians of the land we farm, maintaining our precious natural resources for future generations. Congratulations to Rum Jungle Organics and Larrakeyah Station, finalists in the Landcare Farming Awards category who inspire with their endeavours to not just manage the natural resources in their care, but actually improve the land they are farming.

Held in the garden at Brown’s Mart Theatre, the 2019 NT Landcare Awards highlight and celebrate the achievements of groups and individuals in the landcare community who have made a significant contribution to the environment, sustainable farming practices and natural resource management.

Congratulations to our neighbours Friends of Fogg Dam, winners of the Partnerships for Landcare Award and Pauline Cass, Individual Landcarer Award winner.
